KFGO radio host Joel Heitkamp featured Project Tundra during a segment on his News & Views program on Oct. 2. Heitkamp interviewed Stacey Dahl, Minnkota senior manager of external affairs.

"If we construct Tundra, it would have the impact of taking 600,000 fossil fuel cars off the road so again, this is a meaningful emission reduction," Dahl said during the interview. "With today's technology, we can't have a stable supply of electricity 24/7 if we rely solely on renewable resources. Back in January of last year during the polar vortex, it was nuclear energy and fossil energy through natural gas and coal that kept the lights on during that period."
